1. Qualifications

CPS complies with Regulation 3 of the PSIRA regulations that require all directors, members and executive personnel to be in possession of at least Grade B; with the Director of the company having Grade A

All Supervisors employed by CPS are in possession of a minimum of grade C PSIRA certificates

All Security Guards employed by CPS have the necessary security training (grades) and shall be registered with PSIRA as a prerequisite for employment

All Security Guards that will be employed by CPS shall be in possession of Grade 12 school qualification as a prerequisite for employment

CPS conducts vetting of all personnel in our employ to ensure and maximise the safety and security of our clients

The senior management and supervisory experience within the company is extremely vast exceeding a combined over 35 years in total. As a company, we firmly believe our employees are an asset and the success of any service delivery.

Managing Director

Pakiso Tshabalala is the an astute businessman, entrepreneur and founder of Commuter Group (Pty) Ltd. He holds National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and has a Grade A PSIRA accreditation. He brings to the organisation a high level of administrative and managerial experience, vast knowledge ranging from Project Management to Operations Management and over 20 years of expertise and accredited in the security industry; having worked for organizations such as Telkom and Ikaheng Developers where he held high positions In the safety and security divisions as well.

Operations Manager

Molefi Samuel Majoang is the Operations Manager in the company. He is an accomplished and highly capable Senior Security Professional with over 15 years of experience and training in the security industry. He is Grade A accredited to offer security services under Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA). He Is also accredited and certified in firearm control and handling. Mr. Majoang is also a member of ASIS International which is the leading organization for security professionals worldwide. He is also trained in handling and operating CCTV Camera, and holds various qualifications pertaining to Security Management and Administration.ment and Selection

Minimum matric or higher education

Discipline

Disciplinary codes formulated by Labour Relations Consultants / coincide with latest LRA.

Selection Criteria

Preference given to previous industry experience and reside within service area

Be functionally literate

Satisfactory communication skills in English

South African citizen with valid Identity Document.

SIRA Knowledge Test

Training and Development

All staff members are registered with SIRA, soft skills and specialist training will be provided by out-sourced consultants where applicable. Management and supervisors will re-emphasize existing procedures and introduce new concepts which are conveyed through continuous on job training.

To ensure that this training is achieving the desired level of progress, each member is required to complete a ‘Site Knowledge’ test monthly. If the required set standard is not achieved the member has one opportunity to re-write and thereafter is removed from
