Community Water Supply and 20 L Bottled Water Production

I. Introduction Prior to finalization of the technical design, careful inspections and assessments to the three sites were made in December 2020, participated by SCW managerial staff members, officials PDRD (Provincial Department of Rural Development), commune councils, village chiefs, representatives of community water supply committees of Srae Pok Touch village, Koun Mom district, Rattanakiri province and of Nhoung Sum and Pheam Khe villages of Siem pang district, Steung Treng Province. The technical design of the solar water supply system is based on perceived needs expressed by local communities, project term of reference and also considering the availability of the project budget funded by the Johanniter.

III. Pipe Network

There are only two type of HDPE Pipe size such as 160 mm and 110mm. Therefore, the project will provide same for all villages of 40 m of HDPE 160mm from elevated tank and 110 m of HDPE 110 mm.
