If you are frail aged (over 65), a younger person with a disability, a carer or transport disadvantaged then LiveBetter Community Transport can make it easier to get around.

This practical service offers safe, easy-to-access travel for people who have difficulties using public transport or do not have their own transportation. LiveBetter Community Transport is an affordable door-to-door service that will allow you to maintain your independence and live your best life.

Whether it’s attending a medical appointment, going shopping or enjoying a social outing with friends, this service is on hand to make the journey easier.

Community Transport is open to a wide range of people and made up of a variety of different vehicles, including small buses that are wheelchair accessible.

Where it is available

This service is available in Orange, Blayney, the Northern and Southern sections of Cabonne, Balranald, Wentworth, Ivanhoe, Dubbo, Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Lithgow, Oberon and Cowra.

The service transports people to a range of public facilities in these areas such as the hospital, library, CBD shopping area or to medical appointments.

When it is offered

Transport services are available from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Who can use this service

This service is available to:• People who are frail aged (over 65) and their carer

• People with a disability and their carer

• People who are transport disadvantaged

LiveBetter is accredited for ISO 9001:2015.

Payment

The cost of trips varies and is determined by arrangement with LiveBetter Community Transport.
