Blind and Visually Impaired Support Group: A suppor t group for those who are blind and visually impaired. Light refreshments provided. Career Café: Looking for a comfor table environment to enjoy a cup of coffee while looking for employment, learning job searching skills, a nd refining your resume and cover letter? Come join us for a relaxing time of coffee, job workshops, and light refreshments. Community Advisory Board: Let your voice be heard! Let us know what can we do together to serve the community better ! CAB will meet the 3rd Thur sday of the month. To become a member of the CAB contact David Scolari at [email protected] or (609)238-0685. Light refreshments will be provided. Community Issues: A workshop that provides community members information and discussion on matter s facing the community. Light refreshments wi ll be provided. Culinary Arts: A workshop that aims to teach families new, exciting, and most impor tantly delicious recipes that can be made at home at low cost. Encouraging Women One At A Time: A suppor t group that meets once a month where single mothers can come and enjoy fr iendship, camarader ie, and understand-ing. Light refreshments will be provided. DIY Workshop: A workshop that focuses on easy, affordable, practical crafts that can be done and enjoyed by the whole family. Light refresh ments will be provided. Family Dinner Night: Come join us and your neighbors for a free delicious dinner and good conversation. Family Game Night: A night of fun family games, free snacks, and a pr ize for the winner of the night ’s game. Light refreshments will be provided. Healthy Adolescent Lifestyle Workshop: A workshop that teaches parents and caretaker s how to encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle. Light refreshments will be provided How To: A workshop designed to teach you the basics on a var iety of topics. Light refreshments will be provided Kids Culinary Arts: A workshop where kids can learn the basics of cooking and baking and enjoy their creations afterwards. Move It!: Learn how to get fit through a var iety of physical fitness activities such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and more! All ages, genders, and skill levels welcome! Br ing clothes you are comfortable moving around in. Recess Time: A fantastic time where kids and parents can learn a new and fun game to play. Light refreshments will be provided. Looking for a great place to volunteer? Consider volunteering at Community Connections Family Success Center. We offer various volunteer opportunities that will allow you opportunities to assist in supporting families and strengthening communities. Come by and ask how you can become a volunteer.
