This week walking the discipleship journey together brings us
to the subject of fruitfulness. In prior weeks we’ve talked about
the reality that disciples are called into community, called to love
one another and called to be bold. This Sunday we’ll be learning
about how all Christians are called to be Fruit Ninjas!
If you’ve never played the game, Fruit Ninja is a time wasting
game that small children and adults alike love to play. For our
purposes today, the idea is that each one of us, as disciples, are
called to bear fruit. The fruit first manifests itself within our very
beings and later in the people and communities with which we
surround ourselves.
Another way to depict this fruit is to talk about transfor-
mation. Transformation of self and of all creation is the call that
each and every disciple has been given and empowered to per-
form. So join us on our final leg of the journey, as we talk about
transformation and about being Fruit Ninjas!

We Your Children! Our nursery is a valuable and important offering allowing parents a place for their little ones (with lots of enthusiasm) a place to play during the worship service. We have great volunteers but there is always need for more to cover times when our helpers can’t make it. Please consider this ministry.
