Curved panels and shaped horizontal sun shading were integral to achieving the architect’s vision for CBA’s brand new premises at Darling Park in Sydney.
The façade was constructed with carefully selected individual components integrated into the modular panels, a key feature being the operable elliptical louvres over the main building atrium glazing.
Curved glazingWe integrated curved glazing, both convex and concave, abutting into the large span atrium to showcase the building’s main feature.
Fire safetyOperable aluminium and frameless glass louvres are connected to the building’s BMS system and programmed to open if there’s a fire.
Zinc panelsBoth curved and straight zinc curtain wall façade panels were purposely refined to create a seamless façade appearance.
