Editorial - Youth ministry “Term 2 kicked off with us still being in level 4 due to Covid-19, which as a lot of you know makes youth

ministry a lot harder, having to do everything over zoom calls and phone calls. But the good news is we all survived the zoom calls and are back to a new normal meeting in person back at the church hall. We continue to run the drop-in and Friday night youth group, which saw a few new faces turn up, so I thank God for that. At the end of the term we combined with a few other youth groups and went on a camp we call bus tour. Yes

we do go in a bus and yes we do tour around the country but that is just part of the camp. Along with amazing activities we run a night church service each night of camp, this involves worship, crowd breakers, notices, a talk, more worship then a time of small groups where a leader takes a few kids and unpacks the talk that we

all just heard. When I look back on this time I am reminded of one of my favourite Bible verses Matthew 18:20 “for where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” And boy was he there! It was so evident that God had turned up. Groups spent up to or even more than an hour talking and unpacking the talk and

this all lead to us running a testimony night on the final night of camp. This had a load of kids getting to have the opportunity to share how God has and is working in their lives. All in all what a magnificent camp! The youth at NBC really thank you all for your prayers and donations to help fund them to attend the camp.”
