Removed downstairs bathroom, replaced with new ceiling, walls and flooring. New toilet and cistern and basin fitted. Disposed of all rubbish. Comments: William and his son arrived promptly every day. Got on with their jobs throughout the day. Tidied up after themselves even when a job wasn't fully complete. Workmanship is to a very high standard and the end result is exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend S&S Home Improvements.

Comments: Can’t praise Wullie & Calum’s work ethic highly enough, quality of the finish is excellent and continually informing us of how and why some wee things were being done, made sure we were familiar with the shower operation once the job was complete. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.

Comments: We can’t praise S & S Home Improvements enough. From start to finish – William, Calvin, Audrey and Nicole gave us excellent service. Their workmanship is excellent and they worked hard to get everything finished in the time plan agreed. We will definitely contract them for future work!

It was a nightmare of a job for them as I had a huge wish list that they managed to accommodate in a very small space. The standard of workmanship was exemplary and I am delighted with the result. Comments: I am very impressed with the work that William Sandilands and the boys carried out in my home. The repairs to my kitchen were finished to a very high standard. No changes to the job were made without my consent, dust sheets were used and everything was left clean and tidy. The path was also thoroughly cleared of sawdust and debris. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Everyone was hard working, polite and friendly and I will recommend S&S to friends and family.

This was all bespoke work designed by the company. Comments: A professional approach was demonstrated throughout all the work, from providing estimates, installation and completion. The staff were very courteous and reliably turned up each day at the appointed time. Considerable skill, competence and experience was demonstrated and the quality of work was to a very high standard. The staff went out of their way to achieve customer satisfaction. They were flexible, adaptable and were able to provide alternatives that the customer hadn’t considered.

The keepers had become loose over time and needed a more secure fixing. Comments: This tradesman is knowledgeable, experienced and practical and finds solutions to problems, discussing these as part of finding the best way to do the job. He is reliable and personable and inspires confidence and gets the job done efficiently. I would certainly ask him again to do work for me.

Total cost of work: £280 Description of work: He firstly came and had a look at the job we were requesting to be done, advised us as to what could be done and showed us from a catalogue what was available (it was to fill a space between fitted bedroom unit and wall at door, unit material no longer available – parts required full length door and small door at top with supporting framework etc.) He returned with samples twice, order parts and returned to fit same. Comments: My wife and I are very pleased with the job, although the material – panel doors and framework – are different they tone in very well. The work was done efficiently and clean carpets all covered with dust sheets.

Total cost of work: £1581 (approx.) Description of work: To remove existing gravel from back garden into bags as well as all membrane underneath. To rotavate soil and then place new top soil on top throughout on top of which new turf will be laid to take root and then establish as lawn. Comments: William, Kelvin, Stephen all worked very hard throughout the job, even when the rain was continuously coming down on top of them, they still soldiered on to get the job done. Extremely pleased with the results of their hard work and efforts – has completely transformed my back garden for the better definitely.

Comments: William of S&S Home Improvements is a lovely, genuine guy, offering competitive rates and a first class service. Kitchen work was carried out to a high standard and efficiently. William is extremely accommodating, going out of his way to help – came back that night to fit a new kitchen top which was required last minute - nothing is too much trouble.
