Welcome To
“Kindergarten Castle”!
In Literacy and Creative Arts,
Kindergarten have been having fun
reading, writing, drawing, creating, role
playing and learning about castles! We
even created one in our classroom! It is
almost complete and has a moat,
drawbridge and a dungeon with a dragon
guarding treasure! Kindergarten
thoroughly enjoyed acting out the story
we wrote together for our assembly item.
Thanks to all the amazing Mums and Dads
for their fantastic costumes!

HAPPY HOLDAYS! In our last newsletter for the term, the staff at Paterson would like to wish everyone a relaxing holiday and an enjoyable break. You can see from the term planner that Term 4 promises to be a very busy one. There are lots of exciting opportunities and the usual end of term events happening. Year 6 would like to say a big thank you to everyone for supporting their fundraising this week. The cake stall had many delicious donations from parents and raised $180.00. (Very impressive eating on behalf of the kids!) The footy colours day has also been well supported and has been a lovely way to end the term. On a personal note, thank you also for your holiday well wishes and gifts. I am looking forward to a terrific holi-day and hope that everyone enjoys a productive Term 4. Tomorrow Rotary will be conducting a Working Bee at our school. This will be very exciting as the area between the canteen and staffroom will look gorgeous when the kids return.
Our Year 5 students have a bird feeder that they decorated on display at the Hunter Valley Gardens - Spring Festival. If you are visiting the gardens, keep an eye out for it. Happy Holidays Regards Monica
