• WHAT: writing articles, drawing and preparing photo materials for a school magazine

• HOW: - students get instructions, they are divided in smaller groups (time: 14.30-15.00)

- students work in groups (time: 15.00-16.00)

• Description of a person you know well (yourself, your parents or grandparents, friends)

• Description of a place (your capital town, hometown or your home)

• Collecting photo materials from other workshops• Making short interviews and reports

• Writing a biography (well-known Latvians, your parents or grandparents)

• Writing formal letters (application for a job, complaint)• Writing friendly letters

• Illustrations and drawings (short comics, jokes, art materials and cover for the magazine)

• Typing articles
