Reflections Loving the Life We Live
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
When you know that consciousness is the one and only reality - conceiving itself to be something good, bad or indifferent, and becoming that which it conceived itself to be - you are free from the tyranny of second causes, free from the belief that there are causes
outside of your own mind that can affect your life. Neville
Contemplate the ideal world and the ideal world will reveal itself to you. The ideal world already exists, but we often have to train ourselves to see it. See the ideal conditions and circumstances and call them forth through intentional recognition. Whatever is not in accord with your ideal, let it recede and be no more in your personal experience.
Open yourself to the infi nite good which is now available to you. Realize that the world process is nothing but consciousness forever unfolding and being. Our daily life is seldom ideal. It is fi lled with confl icts in consciousness (holding on to one or more false ideas we have of or about ourselves). It may be trapped with anxiety, hurt, pain, loss, feelings and thoughts of failure. One part of our life is we say, “this is as good as it gets”, or we surrender to fear and feelings of going through our life facing one tragedy or loss after another.
I propose turning all of that thinking around and living from a place of acceptance, experience of love and insight to guide us wisely on our way.
1. In a very real sense, God as the Source of All Life is everywhere. There is no place where God’s Presence is not! In this moment we make a decision - an over arching decision to live in a friendly universe. We look at life differently. The experience of life is friendly - that is we

see it and experience it in friendly terms. We lift up our eyes to the light and stop or surrender thoughts of attack, anger, hurt and “woe is me” interpretations of our life experience.
2. When we love the life we live, we stop the up and down roller coaster of thoughts, good or bad, of judgment toward others and ourselves. We arrive at a place inside ourselves called acceptance!
We learn to experience life as it is, not necessarily as we wish it to be. Our husband is who he is as a man, as a human. Our wife also is a human wonder woman and I wonder what she’s up to. We learn among the many lessons of life, each person has a personality that can be experienced with pleasure or experienced in pain.
As we accept people, we give ourselves permission to be ourselves. We discover that dress up clothes, powder and paint has nothing to do with anything. It’s window dressing as in a department store display.
We fail at what we try to accomplish and yet we succeed if we learn to be adaptable, fl exible and willing to try again.
If we love (accept) the life we live, we allow ourselves, our deep, real (inner) selves to show up at the doorstep of life offering hand picked fl owers for the day.
Yes, diffi cult experiences will still come our way. We shall see the birth of a new idea in the ashes of loss, wounding or even death.
Finally, bless fully and deeply all the experiences of our lives. Each one serves even when we, at the conscious level, can see no reason to be happy or celebrate. Blessing will change the way we experience the situation from hurt, loss, lack to what is and let go of judgment. Enemies are often gifts in disguise waiting for their moment to make a positive difference in our lives.

Interfaith Tampa Bay GroupOnce a month, the Interfaith Tampa Bay group meets at the Hangar Restaurant in St. Petersburg. Ministers and lay people
from many different faiths join together in the spirit of Oneness, Unity, Truth, Love and Peace. We share in an inter-active discussion, and plan for a variety of interfaith events throughout the year. Many representatives of the various faiths come together, to reach out for community support, sharing ideas and activities in spiritually
educational, as well as social arenas. TLG is honored and privileged to be a part of this spiritual and loving group.
