RN-to-BSN Georgia Articulation Plan Requirements

NO TESTING Required for Admission:• 0-4 years after nursing graduation

OR• More than 4 years after nursing graduation AND WITH

greater than 1000 hours clinical practice in last 3 years.

TESTING REQUIRED for Admission:• More than 4 years after nursing graduation BUT has

fewer than 1000 hours clinical practice in last 3 years .. Applicant must be tested for admission

• Hold current and valid license to practice professional nursing in Georgia

• Meet nursing program’s admission requirements

• Meet nursing program’s general education requirements

• Meet testing requirements if applicable

CSU RN-to-BSN Admission Requirements

• Nursing GPA minimum 2.75 on 4.0 scale (calculate only courses required for BSN)

• Starting in 2011, no more than 9-10 credit hours left to complete in areas B, C, E or Wellness which MUST be completed with last nursing course.

• Acceptable professional letters of reference (3)

• All area A, D and F requirements met (per BOR requirements)

• Pass ENGL 1101 and 1102 with grade of C or better (BOR rule)

• Pass all sciences & labs with grade of C or better

• Pass Regents Exams
