The Colt NFV Natural Façade Ventilator is a combined, integrated louvre/damper system designed to be installed within the envelope of a building to allow controlled natural ventilation. It is ideally suited for education facilities as part of BB101 but is also suited to many commercial and public buildings such as libraries, offices and health care facilities.

The Colt NFV is a fully thermally broken system which can be installed into any structure or glazing system.

dESCrIPTIoN

The Colt NFV weathered motorised or manual natural uPVC ventilation damper allows the passage of air to/from classrooms, atrium corridors, lobbies and stairwells. It enables the fabric of the building to be cooled overnight and reduces the risk of daytime overheating.

- Air permeability – Class C when tested to BS 6375 Part 1:1989 at a pressure differential of 50Pa.- u Value – 1.0W/m2K.- Acoustic – refer to tested figures overleaf.- Coefficient – refer to tested figures overleaf.

oPTIoNS

- Internal decorative grille.- Control – either 24v or 230v electric actuators with modulating option. Manual control via lever or teleflex control.- Weather louvre – double bank louvre system to provide weathering to Class A (at 1m/s suction) to EN 13030.- Acoustic unit – provided at depth required to achieve desired internal noise levels (see sound reduction data overleaf).

- Heater battery – see over for performance- Birdguard and insect guard.- Control system – a range of options to provide control to dampers via, (for instance), rain, wind, temperature and Co sensors.

- overall Width: from 450mm to 2400mm. - overall Height: from 350mm to 2000mm. - dimensions are in mm increments - The maximum dimensions are limited by the aspect ratio. - The maximum area for a single unit is 2.2m2.

FINISHES

Polyester powder coated external louvres and a wide variety of decorative grilles.
