African Centre for Community and Development ©2012 All rights reserved I paint to communicate what I feel and what society feels through me. I know some of the stories I tell but people tell the other stories hidden in my colours as silent statues talking of stories only the curious observer will obtain. My art leave room for poetry, music and for drama . They leave room for obscurantism and for detail. They touch the themes that trend including cultures, envi- ronment, life, death, peace, love, nature, poverty and ab- straction. To me they are a people art because I think exhibiting them is usually merged to my humanitarian or civil society activities of my organization African Centre for Community and Development. So by allowing my painting to hang on a gallery or to sell in a gallery you may be inciden- tally supporting an outreach to an orphan somewhere or the spread of knowledge or poverty alleviation or environ- mental protection. So this collection of art works in this portfolio are meant to be in- teractive. To communicate with you and to see how you can communi- cate with them and their crea- tor. There is possibility for engage- ment from t-shirt designers, cloth makers to art galleries and museums. Therefore take action. Stir the tea cup if you cannot make a storm in the tea cup. I paint to communicate what I feel and what society feels through me. I know some of the stories I tell but people tell the other stories hidden in my colours as silent statues talking of stories only the curious observer will obtain. My art leave room for poetry, music and for drama . They leave room for obscurantism and for detail. They touch the themes that trend including cultures, envi-ronment, life, death, peace, love, nature, poverty and ab-straction. To me they are a people art because I think exhibiting them is usually merged to my humanitarian or civil society activities of my organization African Centre for Community and Development. So by allowing my painting to hang on a gallery or to sell in a gallery you may be inciden-tally supporting an outreach to an orphan somewhere or the spread of knowledge or poverty alleviation or environ-mental protection. So this collection of art works in this portfolio are meant to be in-teractive. To communicate with you and to see how you can communi-cate with them and their crea-tor.
