Colorines was a beautiful bird with multi-coloured feathers and an orange beak with black spots.
He wore a blue vest, grey trousers and a black hat with a red ribbon.
He lived in Pajarolandia, in a grey soft cloud called Carolina.
His friends were the Little Birds. Colorines played with them hide and seek among the clouds and the rainbow. They also liked flying down to the river to have a bath or flying to the fields to eat pulses.
If he was in problems he had a magic power: just clicking his fingers and saying the magic words Air is the most beatiful place on planet Earth, he was back home again.

But not everything was amazing because carnivorous dinosaurs lived on land and they were a danger for our friend Colorines.
One Autumn morning Colorines was saying bye-bye to his friend the Little Birds because they were emigating to warm countries. Then Colorines saw the hungry family of dinosaurs looking for food. Colorines tried to say his magic words but he was so scared that he didn’t remember a word. The dinosaurs were coming closer and closer and Colorines clicked his fingers once and again but he only remembered the songs Carolina the cloud taught him:
Pa-pa-rá, pa-pa-rá, Abracadabra, pata de cabraPa-pa-rá, pa-pa-rá, Tierra, aire, fuego y agua
Luckily Carolina the cloud saw Colorines was in danger and she went down from the sky and she hid in a tree and used her magic power to help Colorines. She said a magic sentence and turned herself into a black cloud and threw a big flash of lightning causing a great thunder.
The dinosaurs ran away and Colorines escaped into a black cloud.
Carolina the cloud called her friends The Winds to push the cloud where Colorines had escaped.
Sssh! Colorines is

The Winds blew so hard that the cloud travelled through the sky until it arrived to Mallorca island.

There were dinosaurs in Mallorca too, but they were kind and familiar. They liked swimming in the beach, walking in the fields and climbing the mountains in the island. They ate seaweeds, fruit, fish and leaves.
The dinosaurs welcomed Colorines and his multi-coloured feathers. They invited Colorines to stay with them and he accepted. He was happy with those peaceful dinosaurs and the beautiful island.
But happiness is not for ever. One day Colorines started getting bored. He didn’t want to eat. He didn’t want to play. He didn’t want to walk or to climb the mountains with his friends the dinosaurs. He missed his life in the clouds with his friends the Little birds. Then he had an idea: he called his friends The winds to bring him news from his friends the Little birds and Carolina the cloud. But the winds didn’t know anything about Colorines’ friends. Colorines was very worried.
Colorines asked the winds to push him into a black cloud to Pajarolandia to see his friends, so the winds blew and blew.

When Colorines arrived to Pajarolandia he saw, hidden in the black cloud, that the carnivorous dinosaurs had captured his friends the little birds and Carolina the cloud.

Colorines asked the winds to move him back to Mallorca to ask his friends the vegetarian dinosaurs for help. So the winds blew and blew again.

The Vegetarian dinosaurs wanted to help Colorines but how could they move to Pajarolandia? They were very big!
Then Colorines had an idea: He asked all the black clouds in Mallorca for help to move the vegetarian dinosaurs. The black clouds accepted.
All the clouds joined each other and made a “very big stormy cloud”. The dinosaurs got on the cloud as a surfboard and they slid through the sky towards Pajarolandia.

On the way Colorines showed his magic words to his friends and asked them to join him to say the magic words together when they arrived to Pajarolandia, because “the most we are, the stronger we are”.
As soon as they landed to Pajarolandia Colorines and all the vegetarian dinosaurs clicked their fingers and said the magic words: “Air is the most beautiful place on planet Earth”.
When the carnivorous dinosaurs saw them, they ran away at once because they were very scared. Colorines was very happy because finally he used his magic words.
Hurray!
Then Colorines went towards the cave where his friends were prisoners and freed them. Then they escaped to another island called Gran Canaria.
Since then they live in Gran Canaria, in a beautiful place called Palmitos Park, where we can visit them when we want to.
Colorines had two babies who are called Colorín and Colorado, and this story it’s finished.
