CONCEPT

The bed unit design is evolved from a paintcan. The structure and shape plays a key role inthe formation of the COLOR CAN bed unit. This isa multipurpose unit which comprises of bed,

study table, wardrobe, storage and a playspace.

Kids would enjoy this bed as one should crawlinside to sleep. Night lamp which looks like a

glass panel in the day time is given for the bedon both the sides. Play space when closed whichlooks like a wardrobe opens up to become ahuge space for the kids to play. These beds canbe used by children from the age of 7 to 11. Itcan be used by both girls and boys.

A child crawls into his bed to sleep. Gives a sense of security, coziness.An extra mattress can be pulled out below the bed.Storage is given on either sides of the bed, the kid can reach when he/she is sitting on the bed.A night lamp in the shape of glass is given on either sides of the pillow.A pull on Fabric cover is given on top of the bed, it can be customized according to kids likes.This fabric cover can slide from the end to the entrance side. This can also be used as a mosquito net covering on all the sides.

The study comprises of Computer Table, Study Table & Storage.Automated shutter opens this unit.Elevation of the storage has broken its monotony from the outer shell.The colors can be modified as per client’s need.Above the study is a display section to showcase awards, toys etc.

PLAY

The play section was designed like a movable unit as it would be easy for kids to push it and play anywhere in their rooms, residence.This movable unit is supported by 4 wheels which can be pushed very easily.Storage for board games, toys are given.

WARDROBE

Hanger space for clothes display.Drawer spaces for storage.Lowest Drawer is used for shoe storage.Air vents are given for the odor disposal.Storage above the wardrobes were given for display.
