Q: What do I do if my water freezes?

A: If you just don't want to deal with the problem call a mobile-manufactured home service company. Have a few names on hand in case something happens. There are a few things to try that may save you the cost of a service call:-Check the heat tape & it’s outlet for power If you don’t have any water. It may be a GFI switch or the reset on the heat tape. -Check the water line: It should be strapped up off the ground and the top of the riser hole capped with insulation. Check for a hole/tear in the underbelly. -If you have only hot OR cold water try forcing warm air into the floor. Close the floor vents and turn up your heat to 76º-78º for one hour. Turn on your faucets and open up your cupboard doors. If only one fixture is frozen try to increase circulation around that area by opening cupboards or plumbing accesspanels. -Don’t turn your heat down too far in very cold weather, especially in older homes. -If your heat tape needs replacing and you choose to replace it yourself, please purchase a heat tape at a mobile/manufactured home parts store as some heat tapes sold at home improvement stores are not code for our homes and can be a fire hazard.

Recycling The 2018 recycling calendar

New Brighton License Center

The New Brighton License Center now can renew driver’s licenses. The Center is located in the lower level of New Brighton City Hall also handles vehicle tabs and titles, fishing and hunting licenses, and driver’s license address changes. 803 Old Hwy 8 NW, New Brighton. 651-638-2101.

Mix and heat up all ingredients, then add a small tub of sour cream. Stir to mix and heat. Top with Fritos or Taco chips and shredded cheddar cheese.
