Collin College’s statement regarding “Appropriate Footwear”

Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are the ONLY appropriate footwear for a laboratory at any time. Those wearing inappropriate footwear will not be permitted into the laboratory. Shoes should cover the entire foot, including the top of the foot, toes and heel.

Toe shoes, barefoot style sport shoes, slippers and other ‘soft’ shoes made of mostly absorbent fabrics or shoes that expose any part of the foot are not permitted.
