COEHS – Early Efforts
2006: Hired a “web person” = Problems- Not a designer, didn’t know our CMS-I was trying to convert experience into “marketing”- Limited by lack of knowledge of IMC- Better by 2008, but not what I wanted
IMC & COEHS: Collaboration“Sort Of!”
Campus initiated IMC Division & DirectorAug. 2007 – Director approached COEHS about collaborationRelations were very poor/adversarial at bestNeither party understood the other; there was a definite gulf we could not cross
IMC & COEHS – Joint Project 2008: No more collaboration – instead IMC proposed a joint partnership around projects and peopleJoint hiring of web development and marketing & design specialists Equivalency of time, reviews & funding Still a bit of disconnect around approach, BUT now we could work projects as a team!
