Collaborating in Diversity !

Page 2: Collaborating in Diversity

The last couple of years business collaboration between EU and Turkish companies is

flourishing as part of the process that will eventually lead to Turkish membership of the EU.

Turkey is the 6th biggest trade partner for the EU and the EU is by far the biggest trade partner

for Turkey. 30% of Turkish export, worth 114 billion Euro, goes to the EU. That accrued

collaboration between companies from Turkey and the EU and the exploration of new markets

creates new challenges for those organizations.

The business context for most organizations worldwide is becoming increasingly global, rapidly

changing, unpredictable and complex. In order to maintain their business performance and to

further develop in a sustainable way, organizations are faced with the need to learn, to change

and innovate. And in order to be able to do that, organizations need to reinvent the way they

work, the way they manage their human potential, the way they use the knowledge, energy

and initiative of all their managers and employees.

Reinventing organizations implies a number of major ‘paradigm shifts’ in how we think about

work, working together, workers autonomy and engagement & leadership in organizations.

These paradigm shifts will help organizations evolve from static, hierarchical and mechanistic

organizations towards flexible, agile, inventive and collaborative learning organizations.

INOP is a collaborative network of Turkish and EU consultants-coaches-facilitators with

international experience who decided to work together in order to deliver the best possible

support for organizations who are ‘re-inventing’ themselves and the way to do business in and

with Turkey and the EU.

All INOP-members have their own independent consulting practice. Based on the

requirements of the consulting assignment we will bring those consultants together that are

best positioned to do the job and decide who takes on what role in the project team.

INOP is special in three ways :

We mix a broad international experience with a profound and in dept cultural understanding of as

well Turkish business and Western-European organizations and businesses. As consultants we

enhance cross cultural understanding by actually working across cultural borders and nourishing

our diversity as strength.

We bring our different fields of expertise together in order to create a holistic approach to the

challenges our customer organizations face. We start from your needs and issues and develop our

interventions from our reflection & collaboration in the Network.

We combine a solid business background, most of us held senior management positions in large

multi-national businesses, with consulting and facilitation experience and solid, academic expertise

in our respective fields.

INOP brings together expertise,

methodology and information from four

different but very much related areas of

consulting. For each of those consulting

areas we list here a few examples of

subjects and approaches we developed

over the years.

Business Development : facilitating

the strategic business process in your

organization ; set up internal and

external stakeholder engagement

processes; CSR and business ethics;

environmental scan; quality & safety

management; financial & tax issues;

EU regulations, Turkish and

international law; Lean & Six Sigma efficiency programs; performance improvement programs; …

Organization Development & Change : process facilitation; culture change; re-organization and

organization design; leadership; managerial practices; team development & coaching; innovation;

employee engagement; project management; ethic of contribution; participative decision making &

problem solving; …

Human Resources Development : building strategic HR policies and practices in line with the

business. Introducing specific policies / practices such as talent management; performance

management; career development & succession planning; coach the HR department; on-boarding

of new employees; absenteeism; …

Strategic Learning : setting up a L&D policy and practices; learning organization; corporate

university; experiential learning; coaching & mentoring; on-the-job learning; designing learning

tracks; internal facilitator training; training & coaching of L&D managers; …

In working with you we respect a number of key values and principles that we find important to get the

best possible results for your organization:

Focus is on Impact : changed behavior and improved business results

A systemic approach that looks at your organization as a whole and creates a ‘holistic’

intervention that integrates our different fields of expertise

We don’t work FOR you, but work WITH you in order to involve all stakeholders in the

‘change process’ and make sure you get lasting and sustainable improvement and

progress in your organization

We don’t fight symptoms, we go for the underlying causes

We develop the organizational capacity for learning, change and innovation and make

your organization stronger

We establish a customized ‘core team’ for your change project … geared to your needs
