More Accessibility

Common Issues

User not using Chrome• can chat• cannot see/share audio/video

1.

Sharing Audio and Video• must allow browser access• audio device selection

2.

User cannot see all videos• 5 + me video limit• MCUs will not send video if

bandwidth limited

3.

File Uploads• .ppt, .pptx, .pdf supported• red error text for unsupported

4.

App Share• requires Chrome extension• retry app share after ext.

installed

5.

Bandwidth• Dynamic connection

adjustment not fully developed yet • May experience “black” video

windows or no audio

6.

Known Bugs or IssuesIssue Workaround

Reconnect button that is displayed after a user is removed from session is broken

Reload page

Whiteboard / Shared File occasionally does not display for a participant when it is shared before they join

Advance slide or stop and restart whiteboard / file sharing

Windows users will not see .pptx files in the list of files to upload

Change the file type filter in Windows Explorer prompt to “all files” or drag-and-drop the file into the UI

All visible audio and video panels will occasionally drop entirely and then come back about 5-10 seconds later

N/A – session will continue

When a moderator stops another moderators app share and does their own app share, the app share window will appear gray or loading

A moderator should stop their own app share before another moderators start one.

When a moderator stops app share, one participant’s video occasionally displays in two of the video areas

If possible, have that user disable video and audio for a little bit so they get out of the “active speaker” queue and then re-enable.
