Heat bonding

All Colback® nonwovens are based on our unique two-step manufacturing process which involves the spinning of bi-component yarns, followed by a proprietary lay-down and bonding technique to form the finished fabric.

The development of this proprietary

manufacturing process required fine tuning

and optimization of a large set of parameters.

Our in-house process technology and product

development expertise allow to tailor Colback®

to provide the properties required for each

specific application, no matter how demanding.

This makes Colback® unique in the world of high

performance nonwovens. The product range

spans nonwovens made from recycled material

and composites with inlay for specific

functionalities.

We are unique by design

Environmental management remains a key area

of focus for Low & Bonar, as we recognize the

environmental impact of our use of raw materials –

from our manufacturing processes - including use

of energy, water and the generation of waste,

and via the use and disposal of our products.

We continually seek to improve environmental

management; compliance with environmental

regulation is a minimum standard.

Colback®

Colback®’s unique features allow us to deliver

exceptional properties with minimal material

requirements – Colback® is produced without

any chemical adhesives that negatively impacts

the environment. With Colback® Green we’ve

introduced the first 100% post-consumer recycled

nonwoven.

We work closely with customers to measure the

impact and deliver propositions for the future which

take into consideration environmental requirements

and meet industry standards; as well as voluntary

environmental initiatives.
