    Humanistic Approach.

    In the 1960´s thans to breathroughs in different scientific fie!ds !ie "s#cho!og#$%ocio!og# and &edicine a !ot of research was carried out in order to decode how the

     brain wored' particu!ar!#$ how humans ac(uire !anguages. )he resu!ts of these studies

    inf!uenced the wa# teachers taught !anguages and the cognitive approach was born. )he

    cognitive approach is not rea!!# a c!assroom approach instead of It is wa# of understand

    !earners$ and as a resu!t scientists deve!oped severa! strategies *grammar ru!es+ to he!p

    students retrieve and use an effective !anguage. ,n the other hand$ in the ear!# 1960´s a

    new movement of freedom inf!uenced the wa# teachers taught$ which was main!# focus

    on the students- fee!ings and theirs conscious and subconscious mind. )hese strategies

    tried to get rid of the !anguage barriers of communication among students$ which

    de!a#ed the natura! process of !anguage ac(uisition. )eachers made students fee!

    comfortab!e in their !earning environments b# using different e!ements !ie music$

     p!a#s$ maps$ photos and so on. "ositive reinforcement$ creative and spontaneous use of

    !anguage was encouraged b# teachers in their c!ass rooms.
