•Alwaysplacetheunitonaflat,levelsurface.

•Donotremovethecoverbeforethebladeshavecompletelystoppedmoving.

•Donotusetheappliancecontinuouslyformorethan60secondsatatime.

•Thegrindercannotoperatewithoutthelidinposition.

•Switchoffandunplugatpowerpointbeforecleaning.

•Donothandleappliancewithwethands.

•Avoidcontactwithmovingparts.

•DonottouchtheMultiGrinderII™bladewhileitisoperating,asitisverysharp.Aftertheappliance

hasbeenswitchedoffthebladewillcontinuetorotateamomentlonger.

• Foragoodcupofcoffeeonlygrindtheamountyouneedforimmediateuse,asgroundcoffeequicklylosesitsflavourandaroma.

• WiththeSunbeamMultiGrinderII™coffeebeanscanbegroundtoaveryfinegrindoracoarsegrind.Therequiredcoffeegrindwillbedeterminedbythebrewingmethodused.Thedifferentbrewingmethodsinclude:

• Donotleavecoffeebeansorgroundsintheopenair,alwaysstoretheminanairtightcontainer.

Grinding Herbs and Spices

• Forveryhardherbsandspices,werecommendprocessingin¼cupbatchestopreventoverloadingthegrinder.

BeforeusingyourSunbeamMultiGrinderII™,wipethestainlesssteelgrindingbowl,bladesandtransparentcoverwithadampsoapycloth.Ensurethatnoelectricalcomponentscomeintocontactwithwater.Drythoroughlybeforeusing.

Important: If coffee beans, herbs or spices become caught in the grinding blades stop grinding immediately. Disconnectthegrinderfromthepowersupplyanddislodgecaughtingredientsbeforerecommencinggrinding.

1.PlacetheMultiGrinderII™onadry,levelsurface.

2.RemovethelidoftheMultiGrinderII™andmeasureoutthedesiredquantityofcoffeebeans,spicesorherbsintothestainlesssteelgrindingbowl,seeFigure1.

Important:Donotexceedmaximumcapacityof¾cup.

3.SecurethelidontotheMultiGrinderII™,seeFigure2.

4.Plugthepowercordintoa230-240VACpoweroutletandturnthepower‘ON’.

5.Ensurethelidissecurelyinplace.Tocommencegrinding,simplypresstheoperatingbutton,locatedonthefrontofthegrinder.Continuetopressdownonthebuttonuntilyouhaveachievedthedesiredlevelofgrindandtostopsimplyreleasethepressureontheoperatingbutton,seeFigure3.

Important:Donotremovethecoverbeforethebladeshavestoppedrotating.

Important:DonotusetheMultiGrinderII™continuouslyformorethan60secondsatatime.

Tip:Useonlyasmallamountofcoffeebeanstoexperimentwiththelengthoftimeinwhichyougrindthecoffeebeans.Thiswillenableyoutogetexactlythegrindyoupreferwithminimalwaste,bringingyouonestepclosertothatperfectcupofcoffee.

6.Oncethebladeshavestoppedrotating,unplugthecordfromthepoweroutletandremovethecover.GentlytapthebaseoftheMultiGrinderII™toloosenthefreshlygroundcoffeebeans,spicesorherbsfromthestainlesssteelgrindingbowlandemptyintoanairtightcontaineroruseimmediately.

Important:Do not immerse the motor base or grinding bowl of the MultiGrinder II™ in water.

Important: Do not place the MultiGrinder II™ in the dishwasher.

Whenyouhavefinishedgrinding,unplugyourMultiGrinderfromthepoweroutlet.

Removethecoverandwashinwarmsoapywater.Rinseanddrythoroughly.

Wipetheblades,stainlesssteelgrindingbowl,exteriorandmotorbasewithadampclothorpapertoweltoremoveanyexcessgroundcoffee,spicesorherbs.Usecautionwhenhandlingtheblades,astheyareextremelysharp.
