Brief Introduction of CMS Magnets

Set up in 1990, China Magnets Source Material Limited (CMS Magnets) specializes in research and development,

production and sale of permanent magnet; products include NdFeB, ferrite, SmCo, AlNiCo, magnetic assembly.

The company occupies a land area of 19,950 square meters and the annual output neodymium magnet reaches

1600 tons, SmCo 150 tons, Alnico 600 tons, Ferrite 9000 tons. We have a high qualified team consists of 30 PhD

degreed engineers, and over 600 well trained workers. The company has passed ISO9001:2008 and

ISO/TS16949:2009. All products are in line with RoHs of international environmental indicators.

Our company has a good reputation with the perennial cooperators for Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet on the high

resistance to corrosion, high performance and high coercivity; such as grade -M, -H, -SH, -UH, -EH. NdFeB magnet

is mainly used in PM motor, oil energy, automobile industry, wind energy, audio-visual equipment, electronic

industry, IT, medical equipment, mining equipment, industrial automation, sports equipment, electric tools and

civil industry (package, toys, stationery, printing, gifts and crafts, electrical home appliances etc.)

Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron magnet

Also known as NdFeB, Neo magnet; it is a permanent magnet which made from an alloy of neodymium, iron and

boron. Neodymium has the greatest field strength of any permanent magnet known; it is the most widely used

type of rare-earth magnet.

Bonded Neodymium Iron Boron magnet

Bonded neodymium magnet can be made into many kinds of complicated shapes with iron parts, copper parts,

plastic parts, housing case and shaft injected to make magnetic assembly. Bonded with high dimensional

accuracy, high degree of shape freedom, excellent machinery intension, light weight, can be able to make a

variety of magnetization direction, for example, oblique direction, radial direction, and diametrical 2-64 poles

direction.

Samarium Cobalt Magnet

SmCo is generally ranked similarly in strength to neodymium magnets, but have higher temperature ratings (max

350℃), higher coercivity and very low temperature coefficient (-0.030% / ℃). They are brittle, and prone to

cracking and chipping. Samarium–cobalt magnets have maximum energy products (BHmax) that range from 16

MGOe to 32 MGOe, that is approx. 128 kJ/m3 to 256 kJ/m3; their theoretical limit is 34 MGOe, about 272 kJ/m3.

They are available in two "series", namely Series 1:5 and Series 2:17.

AlNiCo magnet

An iron alloy, it includes iron, aluminum, nickel, cobalt and small amounts of other metals. With high remanence

(up to 1.35T), high quality, the highest temperature up to about 550 ℃, low temperature coefficient (-0.02% /℃).

Excellent thermal stability, Good corrosion resistance (no surface plating treatment, if necessary for good exterior

appearance, can also be coated or painted), the diversity of shape and size, reasonable price, low mold fees.

It is the most common form of permanent magnet, including barium (Ba) and strontium material (Sr) two kinds.

It is divided into anisotropic and isotropic. The maximum operating temperature is up to 250ºC, hard and brittle.
