    本练习本配合《中文真棒》教材设计,

    提供学生于课堂学习之后,进行听说

    读写练习。教师可用于课堂上,作为

    This Workbook accompanies the “Amazing Chinese” Textbook. It provides the after lesson listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises for students. Teachers can use it in the classroom for extended practice or assign it as homework for students.

    It contains three parts: the lesson exercises, unit reviews and character writing exercises.

    I. Lesson exercises: Besides the basic vocabulary word and sentence exercises, practical real-life situation tasks are included to consolidate the flexible application of the target language.

    II. Unit reviews: Organising of key points and review exercises. Pictures are used to organise each unit’s key points to assist effective memorisation and integration of learning. The review exercises are modelled after the test format to check for learning results with the aim to strengthen learning effectiveness.

    III. Character writing exercises: Complete inclusion of characters and character stroke orders of the vocabulary words which allows students to follow easily. Teachers have the flexibility to apply and assign work based on students’ situations.

    Language learning stresses the adaptive application of the target language, qualitative rather than quantitative practice tasks, and not confining to fixed answers and models. Teachers should provide appropriate guidance based on the individual student’s situation.

    The lesson and unit exercises in this workbook cover different question types for listening, speaking, reading and writing. It also ingeniously brings in cultural knowledge so that students can learn the knowledge, communication and expressions of the target language through a variety of formats.
