The Coca-Cola Company is a beverage company and the world leader in soft drink sales.

The Coca-Cola Company is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

The company also produces and markets many fruit juices and other non-soda beverages.

Coca-Cola’s soft drinks include its flagship product Coca-Cola (popularly known as Coke), Diet Coke, Tab, Sprite, Fanta, Fresca, Mello Yello, Minute Maid fruit juices, PowerAde sports drinks.

INVENTOR OF COCA COLA

Coca Cola was invented inMay, 1886 by Dr. John S. Pemberton in AtlantaGeorgia.

His book-keeper, Frank M. Robinson, suggested the name Coca-Cola and also wrote the product’s name in distinctive script.

Coca-Cola traces its origins to 1886 when John Smith Pemberton, an Atlanta pharmacist

During its first year sale of Coca Cola averaged 6 drinks a day.

The company had a sale of $50 during first year.

Pemberton died later and Asa Candler, an Atlanta wholesale druggist, purchased total interest in Coca-Cola for $2300 in 1891.

Coca cola entered in Pakistan when it established its first plant in Lahore in 1953.

Benjamin H. Oehlert Jr. former senior vice president of the Coca-Cola Company, served as United States Ambassador to Pakistan from 1967 to 1969.

In Pakistan, Coca Cola Company monitors the activity of various plants to ensure highest standards of quality.

The regional head quarter is in Lahore, controls 20 plants.

Other countries in this region are Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Maldives, Afghanistan and Nepal.

Coca cola started business in Pakistan as a franchise before 1997.
