COBIOPURE is an extract from the leaves of Moringa oleifera, who-se cultivation following Guarani tradition in Paraguay is biodynamic according to the Demeter standard. Demeter International is the lar-gest organization for certification of biodynamic agriculture.

Moringa, also known as the drumstick tree, is best known for the high nutrient content of its leaves. 18 out of 20 essential amino acids, high concentrations of vitamins A and C, and high content of sodium, iron and other important minerals can be found in the leaves of this miracle tree. Due to this unique composition, Moringa has been an integral part of indigenous medicine for hundreds of years and is still used as a modern “silver bullet” in health and beauty products.

The white, odourless powder COBIOGUM is obtained from the en-dosperm inside the seeds of the native Peruvian Caesalpina spinosa, also known as Tara, and has excellent gel-forming properties. COBI-OGUM is of 100% natural origin and therefore offers an alternative to chemical thickeners.

The main components of COBIOGUM are galactomannans, a class of polysaccharides of unique hydrocolloid nature that have wonderful rheological properties.

The innovative active ingredient Cobiolift has remarkable film-forming, moisturizing and tightening properties. The 100% natural active is a pure fraction extracted from quinoa seeds and has a 3D structure perfectly matching the skin’s surface. Cobiolift rests like a natural, cohesive film on the skin, where it tightens, smoothes and makes the skin radiant over a long time. Various in-vivo studies con-firm the immediate, the long-lasting, the tightening and the moistu-rizing properties of Cobiolift.

In a clinical trial, 15 volunteers applied an emulsion containing Co-biolift once in the crow’s feet area at one of three different concen-trations (3%, 1.5% and 0.5%). Wrinkle depth was analyzed by PRIMOS measurement and compared with the placebo results after 30 mi-nutes and after 1 hour.

The Moringa extract COBIOPURE exhibits strong antioxidative and protective activity: the phenolic antioxidants present in COBIOPURE inhibit free radicals and prevent cell damage (in-vitro). Furthermore, the Moringa extract reduces UV-induced inflammations and pro-tects skin and hair against photodamage.

COBIOGUM has a versatile range of applications in skin and hair care products. A clinical study showed that COBIOGUM significantly in-creases skin moisture compared to placebo.

In 60% of the volunteers, 30 minutes after application, Cobiolift exhi-bits an immediate wrinkle-smoothing effect of 19% already at a very low application concentration of 0.5%. This effect becomes stronger at increasing application concentration of Cobiolift: Wrinkle depth was reduced by 45% already 30 minutes after a single application of a test emulsion containing 3% Cobiolift.

We live in a sea of invisible electronic pollution, and the level of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) has dramatically increased over the past decade. Awareness of its detrimental effects is also increasing.

Various studies show that the radiation from mobile telephones has a negative impact on skin. The constant radiation of mobi-le telephones induces hugely elevated production of free radicals (ROS), thus favouring inflammatory responses. The active ingredient Poly-Helixan PF is obtained from the secretion of the garden snail Helix aspersa. This species of snail has existed for 600 million years and has adapted to extreme climatic conditions.

When the snail goes into hibernation, a special secretion polymeri-zes and covers the entrance to its shell to protect the snail’s Body.

Snail farmers in Chile whose hands were frequently exposed to snail secretion discovered that their hands were smoother and that minor wounds would heal faster. This led to the development of the first cream containing snail secretion.

The active ingredient Poly-Helixan PF is a rich complex for skin rege-neration. It is rich in calcium carbonate.

With Cobiodefender EMR, our partner Cobiosa has developed the first active ingredient that protects the skin against the damages of electromagnetic radiation and neutralizes the negative impact of electronic pollution (e-smog).

Cobiodefender EMR reduces the oxidative stress induced by EMR in keratinocytes and reduces excessive accumulation of ATPs (in-vitro). Further tests are being conducted to substantiate these results.

Poly-Helixan PF was tested on 15 volunteers aged between 13 and 55 with scars. The volunteers applied a cosmetic formulation contai-ning 5% Poly-Helixan PF twice daily in the scar area. The measure-ments of skin elasticity (Cutometer) and skin moisture content (Cor-neometer) were taken before and then 30 days after application. The scars were also assessed by video microscopy on Day 0 and on Day 30.

The Cutometer and Corneometer measurements revealed a 32% in-crease in skin elasticity and a 17% increase in skin moisture content. Furthermore, a visible improvement of the scars was observed after 30 days of treatment with 5% Poly-Helixan PF. (Illustration upon re-quest).
