Principal’s Report
Another very settled week for the students
and staff.
A number of our students are participating in
the Moorambilla Voices choirs, and both the
boy’s and girl’s workshops were held in
Barradine over last weekend and into this
week. These students will come together
again on the first weekend of the school
holidays to perform a sold out show in
Dubbo. Congratulations to all our students.
Also this week was the Nyngbar Athletics
Carnival at which approximately 40 of our
students competed. Results are unknown at
time of writing, though we expect that a
number of our students will progress to the
regional carnival.
This weekend is the mid-term break, and a
reminder that if you use the break to attend
appointments please let the school know.
This, then contributes to the data, we are
gathering in support of continuing the mid-
term break beyond 2017.
Have a good weekend.

LEARNER
Ernie was very excited to see Chase following
all of his expectations when entering the new
playground areas at the start of term 3. Ernie
spotted Chase being responsible with the toy
dinosaurs. Ernie loved seeing Chase ask the teacher
if he was allowed to play with the dinosaurs in a
different area and saw that Chase followed all of
the teacher's instructions. Great job Chase for
following the PBL expectations so well!
Ernie has been keeping a watchful eye on Sierra since she
arrived at CPS. Ernie has watched her in class and in the
playground showing respect for her teachers and peers by
always using her manners, waiting patiently in class with
her hand up until she is invited to speak, speaking politely
and `being fair by waiting for her turn to speak. Ernie has
listened to Sierra talk with her friends in class and he
sees that she shows respect by looking at people when
talking to them.
Ernie has been into the library last week and can't believe Brayden's work.
He always writes more than the expectation in anything he does for Mrs
Whiteman and includes so much detail in his pictures. Work is completed
promptly, neatly and with comprehension. Brayden is always prepared for
learning, participates to the best of his ability and listens to instructions.
Ernie is sure Brayden will keep up this fantastic work in the future. Well
done Brayden.
