CCAR continues to monitor all federal, state and local legislation that affects the real estate industry.

In 2014 CCAR stepped up efforts to regulate local HOAsas the primary source to receive and file complaints.

CCAR organized the first REALTOR® association Flood Insurance workshop for REALTORS® and community

officials educating them on legislation supporting mitigation, and connecting them with the information to help their

clients or municipalities better understand insurance rates.

In addition, CCAR hosted the 33rd Annual Legislative Pig Pickin’ at which more than 50 local and state government

officials, came to meet and greet our members.
