Cadre Roles for Intel Activity: Pick your block and choose your task:

Time Keeper- Someone needs to make sure that the group stays on track and gets through a reasonable amount of material in the given time period.

Reflector- This person will listen to what others say and explain it back in his or her own words, asking the original speaker if the interpretation is correct.

Recorder / Secretary- This person makes notes on the laptop / webpage / activity, recording the group’s thoughts on the projects.

Captain: This person is in charge of making sure everyone is organized, has the materials needed or is on the page needed, is participating, and that

a final and complete project is submitted.

Spokesperson- This person will be the spokesperson for the group on the project if need be at the end of the session or time period

Facilitator / Encourager- This person gets the discussion moving and keeps it moving, often by asking other group members questions- sometimes about what they’ve just been saying
