Bill speaking at the Fundraising Banquet
Serving Him Together,
On Thursday, November 17th CMDA Atlanta held it’s annual Fundraising Banquet at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia and during the evening God exploded the doors off of our expecta-tions! Just under 300 people were in atten-dance and just over 2/3 of our needed budget for 2012 was donated or pledged. It was an evening of tremendous blessings! During the banquet, we showed several vid-eos which all illustrated our theme for the evening - Outlive Your Life. Special worship music was provided by recording artist, Shelly Johnson and Rev. Randy Rainwater, young adult pastor from Grace Fellowship of Snellville provided the invocation, while Rev. Bill Ford, pastor of Parkway Church ended the evening with the benediction. Also Mark and Jean Ryckman were interviewed about their son- Jeff’s tes-timony of coming to faith while serving on a CMDA Atlanta medical mission. Dr. David Stevens, CMDA CEO, was our key-note speaker during the evening and Dr. Steve Brantley, Radiologist and Council Member, presented the financial ask and challenge to the audience. It was an evening to remember—and I hope you will join us again next year. Save the Date! - Thursday, November 15th, 2012 at 7pm.
