DEVELOPMENTMILESTONES

In 1996, CMC entered the system integration and software markets by setting up a system integration center (later CMC SI) and a software solution center (later CMC Soft). CMC expanded to the Southern Vietnam market in the same year by opening a branch office in Hochiminh city.

In 1999, CMC became one of the first companies to manufacture Vietnamese brand computers and formed CMS Computer Company.

In 2006, CMC restructured itself into a holding company of 3 member companies operating in the IT industry: CMC SI, CMC Soft, CMS and was equitized a year later. CMC officially changed its name to CMC Corporation in July 2007 and established CMC Distribution Company late in the year.

Year 2007 is a landmark in its history when CMC made its way into a new field - telecommunication and Internet - with strong technology capabilities accumulated over 15 years: CMC formed CMC Telecom Service Joint Stock Company (CMC Telecom) in 2007 and, in cooperation with SCIC, established CMC Telecom Infrastructure Joint Stock Company (CMC TI) in 2009.

In 2008, CMC set up CMC Information Security JSC (CMC InfoSec) and Segmenta CMC Joint Venture (CMC-SE, currently CIBER - CMC) - a joint venture with Segmenta - Denmark.

In order to actively promote and build an international brand, in 2009, CMC founded a 100%-owned company in France under the name CMC Blue France and, in cooperation with Japans Jupiter Software Company, established a joint venture named Thong Nhat Software Company with its headquarters located in Tokyo.

In 2010, CMC officially listed more than 63.5 million shares on the Vietnamese stock exchange.

On March 1st 2010, CMC Corporation officially became the strategic investor of NetNam Company with 43.8% shares of NetNam.

On April 10th 2010, CMC Telecom Infrastructure officially launched GigaNet services based on FTTx - GPON technology which was deployed the first time in Vietnam.

On April 21th 2010, CMC Corporation and SAP Group - the world's leading software service provider, announced a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly provide solutions for large enterprises in Vietnam.

ON JANUARY 12TH 2011, IN HO CHI MINH CITY, CMC DISTRIBUTION COMPANY LIMITED, A MEMBER OF CMC CORPORATION, OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED THE MOBILE PHONES UNDER THE BRANDNAME BLUEFONE.
