Talking ChipsThe talking chips strategy is used to promote equal participation among a group. The goal is for each student to place a chip on the table when they want to contribute to the conversation. Each student is not allowed to speak unless they have placed their chip on the table.

This strategy is best used in cooperative learning groups.
