Another Success Story...
Jo Davison - University of Nottingham Riding Club
As the first Riding for the Disabled officer, my job was to set up and promote the charity with the aim of recruiting as many volunteers as possible.
RDA allows those will disabilities to have access to and experience the pleasure of horse riding in a safe environment.
I recruited new students at the Volunteer Fair to expand the project. We now work with 3 different stables!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as RDA officer and will certainly continue to be involved with the charity. It is wonderful to think this will be a project that will continue to provide life changing experiences to so many individuals!
‘Running a project is
incredibly rewarding, but part of that is
due to the fact that it is incredibly
hard work’.
