• Talipes = congenital deformity in which the foot is twisted from its normal position.

• Tali = ankle

• Pes = foot

• Talipes cavus = high arched foot.

• Talipes equinus = plantar flextion.

• Talipes calcaneus = dosiflexion.

• Talipes valgus = abduction and eversion.

• Talipes varus = adduction and inversion.
