CLT panels have good fire resistance as it isa massive wooden structure. The panelitself will char in a case of fire, but itsstructural bearing capabilities will remain.Insulation and other construction materialsmade from cross-laminated timber arefireproof as well

SIZE AND STYLE FLEXIBILITY

CLT panels can be used for both load-bearing and visual structures - walls, floorand roofing - and they can bemanufactured in varied sizes and styles. Itis also possible to pre-fabricate wholemodules in the factory and transport themto the site in an assembled form

Even second-grade timber can be used inthe manufacturing of CLT products,resulting in efficient use of the log and asmaller carbon footprint, compared toother construction materials. Otherelements such as adhesives do notcontain any hazardous substances
