Lambeth Council, The Greater London Authority and English Heritage,

the design has changed as follows:

Elevatedskywalkhasbeenreplacedwithwidegroundlevelpedestriancrossings

Existingterraceofhouses(includingtheGrade2listedbuildings)on

WandsworthRoadarenowtoberetainedandintegratedintothescheme

WendleCourtonWandsworthRoadisnowtoformapartofthescheme

foraffordablehousingandthereplacementofthehostel DesignalongMilesStreethasdevelopedtoincludeasecondstudenthousing

buildingandanewcommunityplayspace/square

DesignofhotelalongBondwayhasbeenincreasedinsizetoformastrongedge

tothenewpublicsquareandfrontagestoBondway

Newofcebuildinghasbeendevelopedtorespondbettertothestreetlayout

ofWandsworthRoad

Designandstrategyforallofthepublicspacesandstreetshasevolvedto

createacohesiveimprovementtothelocalpublicrealm.
