CLOUDQUAL A Quality Model for Cloud Services
Presented By
Abstract
Cloud computing is an important component of the backbone of the
Internet of Things (IoT).
Clouds will be required to support large numbers of interactions
with varying quality requirements.
In order to distinguish themselves from their competitors, cloud
providers should offer superior services that meet customers'
expectations.
In this project, I take a service perspective and initiate a quality
model named CLOUDQUAL for cloud services.
Existing system
In existing system to measure service quality, several quality models are proposed.
Servqual model includes five quality dimensions to measure service quality in traditional services.
Quality of service (qos) is a quality model used for e-services. It has six quality dimensions.
Disadvantages
Two models quality dimensions are subjective.
In these quality models reliability and security dimensions are not proved.
These quality dimensions can’t be applied to cloud services with out re-
establishment.
Proposed System
In this proposed system, I take a quality model named CLOUDQUAL for cloud
services.
It is a model with quality dimensions and metrics that targets general cloud services.
CLOUDQUAL contains six quality dimensions
Usability
Availability
Reliability
Responsiveness
Security
Elasticity
Advantages
CLOUDQUAL has a subjective quality dimension ‘Usability’.
Using this quality model no re-construction of quality dimensions is required for e-services.
