1. Maintain and create new partnerships for ethically-sourced goods

I will make sure that we continue our excellent work through Epona to ensure that fairtrade and ethical merchandise is available for Student Unions to sell to their students.  Furthermore, I will ensure that we are constantly on the lookout for new partnerships with fairtrade businesses that adhere to ethical codes of conduct and practices and share in our ethical ethos.

2. Communicate with SU’s to make sure members have the products they desire

I will put communications at the heart of the role to ensure that our purchasing decisions are in line with the demands of our members. Through the establishment of direct communications channels we will stay on top of emerging trends and consumer demands.

3.    Put sustainability at the heart of all practices

I will ensure that environmental sustainability are at the core of how we operate, distribute and select partners. When we talk about ethically sourced goods, we need to be sure we are environmentally ethical as well. I commit to improving any practices that are out of sync with this agenda.
