WHAT?The adidas City Run: 1 Hour, taking place on Sunday 5th April, is a running event in the heart of the City. Runners will race against the clock
to see how far they can run in 1 Hour on a 1 mile course.
WHEN?The Event Village in Paternoster Square will be open 07:30 – 15:15, with the first wave starting at 09:00. There will be several different start
times throughout the day.
WHERE?Starting and finishing on St Paul’s Churchyard, the 1 Mile route takes in some of the most well known sites in the City. Please see route
map overleaf.
ROAD CLOSURES WILL AFFECT YOUR AREAThe route and road closure timings overleaf have been carefully considered and agreed through a partnership with City of London,
Transport for London and Emergency Services to minimise the inconveniences of the necessary road closures. Emergency Services will be
operating as usual so please follow normal procedures in the case of an emergency. Pedestrian access will be facilitated across the event
route, but there will be no vehicle or bicycle access on these roads during the road closure period. Bus diversions will also be in place for
the event so please do visit www.tfl.gov.uk to see if your public transport journey by bus is affected.

We will do all we can to provide you with more information on how you can best navigate your way around the road closures.

• Please may we ask you to review your staff rotas and liaise with your staff regarding access arrangements on the day.
• Please ensure your building’s emergency evacuation plan is amended during the above times if it is affected by the road closures or
the event activities.
