Actassi Quick Termination Tool and Spare Cutting Module

Clipsal by Schneider Electric would like to introduce its new Quick Termination Tool. Under the Clipsal Actassi’s range, the new Quick Termination tool is all about saving the installer time and money terminating and trimming excess of all 8 conductors in one action. It is an easy to use tool, which can give the outcome of a fast and reliable termination over and over. These have been the key factors in the design of the Quick Termination Tool. The tool comes packaged with a cutting module inserted in the tool and also a spare cutting module. Cutting modules can also be purchased as a separate item when needed.

C-Bus Saturn Horizon Black The C-Bus Saturn offer currently features a number of finishes including Pure White and Stainless Steel. The range has now been extended with the introduction of Horizon Black.

Including the C-Bus DLT wall switch and C-Bus touch screen controllers, the new textural metallic looking finish feature a flat, square edge design, providing an alternative colour option for today’s interior design.

The C-Bus DLT wall switch, C-Touch Spectrum and B&W MkII touch screen controllers feature a subtle charcoal grey frame and buttons (DLT only) that perfectly match the stylish new fascia.

Please note, dedicated C-Bus Saturn Horizon Black wall switches are not included in this new offer and to achieve this solution existing products shall be utilised i.e.:

Update on Xantrex GT2/8INVERTER and GT5/0INVERTER

Xantrex GT5/0INVERTER The Xantrex GT5/0INVERTER has reached the end-of-life and is no longer available for sale. We do maintain a small stock of units to support warranty claims. The replacement part for the GT5/0INVERTER is the new Conext RL 5kVA unit (part number PVSNVC5000). The detail on this product was provided in a DN late in 2013.

Xantrex GT2/8INVERTER The Xantrex GT2/8INVERTER will continue to be available for sale in the Australian market at a reduced price as below until further notice. A high-end product has also been launched to replace the Xantrex GT2/8INVERTER in premium applications. This is the Conext RL 3kVA unit (part number PVSNVC3000). The detail on this product was provided in a DA late in 2013.

The main benefits of this change are that all switches will have bi-connect terminals and have an increased Conditional rated short-circuit current (Inc) rating. Old model was 6kA and new model is 10kA. Note there is no change to trade pricing between the old and new references.
