Due to his general conditions, we decided to treat the patient with the implantation of an AAA stent graft (EVAR). Material and Methods: We decided to use an Anaconda AAA stent-graft system (Vascutek, Scotland) over a Lokum Lunderquist guide wire (AndraTec, Germany) 260 cm in length, with a 10 cm-long flexible Tip and 6 mm J-Tip, which seemed to meet the requirements of this type of intervention perfectly. The atraumatic soft tip of the Lokum Lunderquist was taken into consideration, since this feature can help perform a safer intervention. For post-dilatation of the AAA stent graft, we used the new AltoSa-SFT (AndraTec, Germany) remodelling balloon, since these balloons have very fast inflation and deflation times as well as strong puncture resistance, which is ideal for EVAR procedures. The Vascutek stent graft is a 3-piece system that offers high conformability/adaptability while the Lokum-Lunderquist wires (AndraTec Germany) are ideal guide wires for these abdominal and thoracic stent grafts, thanks to their highly flexible atraumatic tips and extra stiff shafts. They ensure safe procedures and allow an easy passage of the device while providing excellent support. The AltoSa-SFT remodelling balloons (AndraTec Germany) perform very well for fast adaptive procedures of abdominal and thoracic stent grafts. Pre-angio of the AAA (Fig. 1). The Vascutek graft was implanted at the level of the renal arteries (Fig. 2 and 3) via the Lokum-Lunderquist wires and the Anaconda device was placed in good position (Fig. 3) but was not fully expanded. In this case, post-ballooning of the graft was then performed at the part of the main body and the iliac arteries to ensure its complete expansion (Fig. 4 and 5). Conclusion: The AltoSa-SFT is an ideal balloon for AAA and TAA stent grafts. Its fast inflation and deflation make it a product of choice for these types of endovascular procedures.
