Here comes the.........
Climate Positive MovementA movement whose time has come.
The Pledge:“From today on, I personally will have a net
beneficial impact on the global climate.”
Taking greenhouse gases OUT of the atmosphere!
![Page 8: Climate Positive Movement](https://reader036.vdocuments.site/reader036/viewer/2022062418/554db6f1b4c905bd488b4571/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
How to be climate positive?
1. Lifestyle Change Go low-carbon
2. Overcompensate what’s left.
![Page 9: Climate Positive Movement](https://reader036.vdocuments.site/reader036/viewer/2022062418/554db6f1b4c905bd488b4571/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
Keeping track of your carbon footprint
Many calculators to build upon
Customized tool for the movement
The Climate Account

The Database
Carbon footprints of products Pulls together existing information Suggests low-carbon alternatives for needs New standard

The (Over-) Compensation
Two-fold approach:
1. Emissions-reducing projects in Southern countries (e.g. forest protection, reforestation, renewable energy projects)
2. Retiring carbon credits in the North (e.g. EU ETS)
Some existing mechanisms can be used.
