In addition to above, a pressure transmitter shall be provided on the detection piping to give alarm at “Low pressure”. Low pressure alarm shall be set as per the job specific requirement. When fire occurs and deluge valve opens, the alarm shall be given in local control panel, fire station and control room/ SRR.
We have considered cable between Pressure Transmitter & DV Local Control Panel only.Further cabling from DVLCP to fire station and control room/SRR shall be provided by EIL.
Acceptable. Cabling form the vendor LCP to SRR/CR is in Purchaser's scope as per MR.

In this schematic Pressure Transmitter is indicated only on detection line, not on spray line down stream of DV (for DV open indication )Kindly confirm the requirement of no of Transmitter for each DV.
DV opening indication is indicated in the Schematic for Deluge valve Skid (Annexer - A) as ZSH/PSDL/ZIH

All electronic field transmitters, solenoid valves, junction boxes, process switches shall be flame proof and shall be certified suitable for Zone-1 Gr IIA/B, Temp. Class T3 hazardous area classification by statutory body.
This clause indicates flame proof Solenoid Valve,where as clause no. 3.19 (pg 7 of 13) calls for ex-proof certified Solenoid Valve.Kindly confirm the requirement.
Confirmed. SOV shall be flameproof.

Power supply (110 V AC (UPS ± 10%, 50Hz ± 3%) and / 230V AC 50Hz. 50Hz ± 3% shall be given at near the local control panel in the field by purchaser as required.Further conversion to different voltage levels using dual redundant power convertors & distribution shall be by vendor.
If it is 230 V AC power supply ,We have not considered any Battery back-up.Kindly confirm your requirement.
Vendor to follow MR. 110V AC UPS power supply shall be used for all Indication and Controls. 230VAC is only for panel illumination purpose, for which battery back up is not required as per MR.

As per the price format & as per job specification received, we need to provide mandatory spares (Mechanical items) for each transformer separately. Do we need to provide instrumentation Mandatory spares like Pressure Gauge,Pressure Transmitter etc. also for each transformer separately Kindly confirm.
Mandatory Spares shall be not considered Transformer wise. Vendor shall supply Mandatory spares (as per MR philosophy) for the whole package being supplied.

Bidder’s Query & EIL Clarification for HV/MV Transformer System MR-8060 1. Drawing Nos 1 456 00 50 846, Rev 03 , drawing title 50 MVA, 34.5/11 Kv Onan cooled generator transformer is applicable which transformers. There are no transformer tag numbers on this drawing. EIL Reply : Transformer tags for which this drawing is applicable are TR‐GT1‐561, TR‐GT2‐561 & TR‐GT3‐561. 2. For drawing no 3GA‐22270 , General arrangement of transformer, sheet 2 of 2 is missing. EIL Reply : Sheet 2 is not required as it shows only the legend and does not show any GA. 3. For drawing no 3GA‐22271 , General arrangement of transformer, sheet 2 of 2 is missing. EIL Reply : Sheet 2 is not required as it shows only the legend and does not show any GA. 4. For transformer TR‐EG3‐561 which drawing is applicable? EIL Reply : Typical drawing is attached. Final drawing shall be furnished to the successful bidder. 5. The location of tapping points for transformers is not indicated in drawings. How much distance is to be assumed. EIL Reply : Tapping points for Transformer is near the respective substation main Firewater header only. For location of Firewater main header refer drg.no. A307‐0IY‐16‐47‐0302 & 0303 attached with bids. Final location of tapping shall be furnished to the successful bidder.
Bidder’s Query & EIL Clarification for HV/MV Transformer System MR-8060
1) G.A. Drawings of Transformers showing elevation & plan view, whether Generator
Transformer / Station Transformer / Unit Transformers. Please also indicate the
capacity of the transformers.
EIL REPLY: All transformer GADs already provided in the MR. The transformer rating
has been specified in the title of the drawing.
2) The size/dimension of transformers i.e. height, length & width.
EIL REPLY: Transformer dimensions have been clearly indicated in the GAD.
