Experience:

• Since 2010 - Fire Academy Instructor teaching classroom and practical instruction in Fire Science (Firefighter Levels I & II), Live Burns, and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT-Operations Level)

• Since 1991 - Working with the Nasonville Fire Department protecting the village of Nasonville in the town of Burrillville, Rhode Island– Nasonville has about 4000 residents occupying roughly 1000

structures in a 13.5 square mile area.


Positions Held:• RI Fire Academy Instructor

– Teach Firefighter Level I & II, and HAZMAT Operations Level

• Nasonville Assistant Chief– Responsible for advising on and developing all fire, rescue and

emergency operations manuals, SOPs/SOGs, and Incident

Command activities within the Nasonville Fire District

• Nasonville Fire Chief (Retired)– Responsible for all EMS fire, rescue and emergency operations

within the Nasonville Fire District

– Manage 50 firefighter/medics • 10 Career, 40 Volunteer


Previous Roles Held:• Nasonville Fire Marshal, ADSFM

– Duties include building inspections, plan reviews, fire ground investigations, and other fire prevention duties

• Captain (Fire/Rescue)– Fire and EMS incident management– Training Officer including conducting drills, and

mentoring newer members

• Fire Lieutenant– Under the direction of the Captain, perform drills and

training sessions, mentor newer members, assist in efficient incident mitigation


Previous Roles (cont.):

• Safety Officer– Ensure safety is never compromised in all pre-

hospital and fire incidents

• Firefighter/Medic – Provide fire suppression activities– Provide emergency medical attention to those

in need
