PhD Position in Plant Virology

The Plant Virology lab at Clemson University will have an opening for a PhD student in summer or fall 2020. A M.S. in plant pathology, plant science, entomology, or related field is required by May 2019. Students with extensive undergraduate research experience will also be considered.

The successful PhD student will conduct research on plant virus ecology, transmission mechanisms, viromics, and/or synergistic dynamics of co-infection. The stipend is $22,000 per year with tuition waiver included. Student should have a demonstrated interest in plant disease ecology, plant virology, or virus-vector interactions.
