Welcome

The 8th FISITA World Automotive Summit brings together visionary leaders from industry, government and research to discuss key ideas, issues and opportunities generated from this year’s theme, “Clearing the air; creating a path to sustainable mobility”.

Regulation has become a critical and increasingly volatile topic with acute importance to society and the automotive mobility sector. Much of the discussion is driven by public perception. Facts, including the impact on the customer and the underlying physics, have been demoted to secondary considerations.

FISITA, as a global membership society linking the automotive industry, engineering societies and academia has a critical, central role in supporting progressive discussions based on facts.

Geneva, Switzerland offers an ideal setting for a culturally neutral and open-minded, but provocative dialogue, where we will be covering these key topics:

n Economical and environmental impact

n Regulatory activities and global regulations

n Building an industrial strategy for sustainable mobility

We are pleased to welcome you to the 8th FISITA World Automotive Summit.

Dan Nicholson FISITA President

Chris Mason FISITA Chief Executive Officer
