Opportunities at FTWZ:Warehousing - The facilities provided at FTWZ would help logistics companies to warehouse their commodities for both short and long term without impact on import duty.

Distribution - The FTWZ will allow companies to leverage its state-of-the-art infrastructure warehouses, not only for Indian distribution but also international distribution covering international end users as well. It will provide an opportunity for effective re-export of commodities with facilities for sorting, grading, kitting and repackaging etc. It would also provide an opportunity to undertake value added activities like reverse logistics apart from general cargo handling

Trading - FTWZ entails re-export, re-sale and re-invoice of goods without any restriction. The goods will also be traded in Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) by payment of customs duties as applicable at the time of sale.

Value addition restricted to packaging and labeling - Packing or re-packing without processing and labeling as per customer or marketing requirements will be undertaken under FTWZ.

Assembling: Assembly of complete knockdown and semi knockdown kits

Three different possibilities can be considered for FTWZ business development at Hyderabad Airport. Following the Lease Rental Model, we can build the facility and lease it / rent it to potential partners and interested parties. Else we can lease the land and the facility can be built by the incoming partner. We could also examine the Joint Venture Model wherein the developer and the potential partner can co-develop the land and facility.

The FTWZ is located two kilometers east of the Passenger Terminal

Building of the Hyderabad Airport while the Logistics/FTWZ precinct is

approximately 19.85 acres in area. The site is high quality, ideal with flat &

barren characteristics and is currently under the possession of GHIAL

notified as Aviation SEZ. The FTWZ site includes direct road access which

is strategically significant for future development of the logistics precinct.
