1. Set a routine Predictable Mechanical It allows students to focus on content.
BusyIf you don’t assign your students a task, they will find something else to do! Make sure you don’t have too much down-time between activities!
InterestedYour students are more likely to act up when they are unengaged. Plan activities with their interests in mind. Also be observant while you teach and adjust your lesson to keep their attention.
AssessedGive them a purpose. Let them know you are checking up on their completion of a task.
